Well, we can assure you that this deMx is much more concerned with life safety issues than the one above. deMx architecture (indeed pronounced d-m-x) is a small design-oriented firm based in downtown Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Our firm’s mission is to deliver architecture both “of the place” (site appropriate and site specific) as well as “of the time” (modern). We strive to create buildings that balance both appropriateness for context and modernity in technology and aesthetics. The term we use to describe this type of architecture is “vernacular modernism”. We draw inspiration from both the vernacular buildings of the area as well as modern design and technology.
